Colin Ahern is the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer of the City of New York. Before joining the City, he was a security engineer and threat researcher in financial services. Colin also served seven years in the US Army, deploying twice to Afghanistan and commanding a company at US Army Cyber Command. He has degrees from Tulane University and New York University’s Stern School of Business.
